Georgia Peach Cobbler Recipe Page

I joined a Recipe swap...A lot more work than I realized...So I had to simplify...I used Marvy Waterbased Markers with direct to rubber technique to ink up my peach stamp and then stamp onto each page...After inking up the stamp with the Marvy Waterbased Markers, breathe heavy onto the inked image and stamp...quickly breathe onto the stamp again...and stamp...you can usually get two really good impressions from one inking with the markers...as long as your breath is really warm on the ink...I made the background on the page, by just stamping the ink pads directly onto it randomly...I printed the recipe on the computer, trimmed to fit and then did the direct to paper with my ink pads
This is a closeup of the stamped peach image...I just love this stamp...and I just put 1 1/2 bushels of peaches in my freezer...so we can have fresh peach cobblers all winter long...Its a Georgia thing...

Acetate overlay with Alcohol Inks

I decided to try something different...I cut two frames, one using Acetate...one using the white cardstock...I stamped the images in black on the white cardstock, then applied Ranger Alcohol Inks to the backside of the acetate frame...I layerd the two frames and attached brad at the corners to hold in place...Stayed tuned for more to come with this...

Tag Book from Kit

This is the cover of my Tag Book...It uses the ATC frame and buckle with organza ribbon...A photo and title are all thats needed here...Remember you can add other embellishments from punched shapes as well as other mini and small die cut shapes...Since all the die cuts are white 110# cardstock, the possibilities for color matching are endless... These are the first two inside pages...I used the rectangle shaped envy to make a pocket for the small tag and used the small star to make a flower for the frame on the opposite page...
The two photo mats on this page are actually the inside cuts from the ATC frame...they are a perfect 1.5 x 2.5 inches...I used some photo holders cut in half to kinda anchor the mats and square frame to the pages...
The square envy makes an ideal pocket for this page and holds the 1.5 x 3 inch tag...Add a photo of journaling to the tag and slip it outta the pocket to view...The opposite page uses one of the domino die cuts as a mini book with the small heart embellishing the cover...I added some scalloped punched squares to the other tag for accent or to mat small photos...
The back of the book uses the ATC frame also...Add a photo and some journaling for a perfect ending to your story...Inks are applied to the die cut shapes, directly from the pad...For more info about ordering the Tag Book Kits from Debbie's Diecuts, email me at debbiesdiecuts@yahoo.com or visit http://www.picturetrail.com/debbiesdiecuts
