Sunflower

I love sunflowers, I used to grow those great big dinner plate size ones...place them on my picnic table and watch the birds feast on them...I planted a few this past season...and got to enjoy watching that again...this was my last sunflower of the season...I could not resist taking a photo, as I watched the bees busy working on the face of it...

Studio Ramblings

Some of the areas in my studio are in desparate need of organization...other areas are ok...at least for now...I am going to try labeling each area/section of each shelf and see if that will help...Then I will put each item back where it goes...LOL...ok...y'all can quit laughing now...I will try and put each item back when I get thru with it...I keep my rubber stamps sorted by company...and the unmounted sheets separated somewhat by sheet...This does make storing them a pain at times...but I am too anal to change the way I do it...I need to get containers that are all the same size...I think that would make this area of storage better for sure...I keep all my reinkers stored in boxes...as I don't use them often...My ice stickles are on a shelf right next to my work desk...so I can reach over and get them as I need them...I love my color dusters...I have each one labeled as to the ink pad it goes with...I will need some more...but this is a good start...

More Studio Photos

This punch organizer is a blessing...except it does not hold nearly all my punches...most of the large ones are in a drawer...but at least with this area being organized I can use a punch and it has a home to go back to...My books and magazines take up quite a few shelves...I have them separated by magazine and in order of date...but as you can see...I pile stuff on top of them...Thats the "Pile It" syndrome I suffer from...if its a flat surface...I pile it up...LOL...My daddy used to tell me, I was the best little "pilot" he knew...LOL...I do have some organization to some of my wood mounted stamps...this is one of my wood stamp racks...I have another one...I have to get hung up on the wall...This ink pad storage, does not hold all my ink pads...but at least it keeps the ones I dont use as often contained in one area...LOL...and not piled all over my desk, like the others are...

Altered Art Valentine Box

I love working with these matchbox die cuts...I have filled them with little gifts, handmade jewelry and candy...but I also love to make mini books...and enjoy making inspirational books...I used one of my mini envy's and created a mini envelope book to fit inside the matchbox...I also made little cards to fit inside each envy and stamped a message on each card...The stamps are from www.thestampingstudio.com except for the background stamp of mini hearts...and I cannot remember who its from...I used Ranger Glossy Accents to embellish the heart on the box top, then added some wire and a decorative heart button accent...All the die cuts are available at http://www.picturetrail.com/debbiesdiecuts For more info about the Altered Art Boxes, email me at debbiesdiecuts@earthlink.net

ATC art for swaps

These are some ATC's I made from my ATC die cut and ATC frame die cut...I did these for swaps on Stampers Corner yahoo group...African Safari ATC and Mini ATC uses TAC stamps and an old Rubber Stampede background stamp that looks like a giraffe pattern...Winter white and blue uses images from www.innovativestampcreations.com as well as the Artist Choice ATC, I stamped it using Stazon on white glossy cardstock, then used Marvy waterbased markers to color the image in...I added the Prima flower using a mini brad...The ATC, ATC frame and Mini ATC die cuts are available on my picture trail site at http://www.picturetrail.com/debbiesdiecuts

Altered Art Tag Cards

This is my newest die cut creation...Altered Art Tag Cards...of course they could be used as more than just cards...They could be the beginning of a tag book, an embellishment for a scrapbook page, or a really nice gift tag for that someone special...All the die cuts started out white...I added colors from Ranger inks, and some stamped backgrounds to accent the randomly chosen pattern papers...More stamped words, verses or even sticker phrases could be added...Inside message can be from stamps or computer generated text, layered to make really nice cards inside...For more info about these Altered Art Tag Cards email me at debbiesdiecuts@earthlink.net
