Accordion Book in a Tin Kit...

I had a little bit of play time today, so I started one of the Accordion Book in a Tin Kits...I sanded the tin to give it some tooth, then painted it with off white acrylic paint, then applied some alcohol inks to give some background color...I added some green acrylic paint around the edge and just over the top of the lid...I added a piece of torn mulberry and some images from Lisa's Altered Art collage images...it was time to come home for supper, so this is all I had time to do to the tin today...more to come...
I also started the accordion book...I painted the chipboard covers with off white acrylic paint, then painted a background using acrylics...I stamped the branch from Innovative Stamp Creations and added the nest and bluebird image from Lisa's Altered Art...not finished with it yet, but had fun with what I got done today...
I will have enough of these kits available to put them on the studio blog...The kit comes with everything you see here for $2.99 plus Shipping...Tin, accordion book panel, chipboard covers, brackets, swirl, flourishes, images from Lisa's Altered Art and assorted embellishments and for covering the tin a 5x8 sheet of handmade paper, colors will vary per kit...The accordion book and the chipboard covers have rounded corners, so it fits perfectly in the tin...Check out the studio blog for ordering http://thestudioinpreston.blogspot.com
