Matchbox Accordion Book Kit

This is the outside top of my matchbox, I used some of my new stamps from Innovative Stamp Creations http://www.innovativestampcreations.com I stamped the small branch and bird on the cover layering piece...I used two photo holders glued together, then inked with the same brown used to color the box, I attached the photo holder handle with tiny antique colored brads...
I used the larger branch and bird on the inside of the accordion book...I made my own little leaf stamp, from the excess rubber as I trimmed my stamps...I just cut a little shape that looked like a leaf...and it worked perfectly...
This is the cover of the accordion book...I painted the chipboard covers with brown acrylic paint, then used Tea Dye Crackle Paint over a section of the cover...I love those cracks...I added a torn pattern paper piece, and stamped my words and coated them with Glossy Accents...I added the Tim Holtz washers and a clear acrylic stone to each washer center...
This is how the book looks in the drawer part of the box and the decorated sleeve...
Here is the Accordion book opened...its not finished yet...but I wanted to show what I had done so far...You can get your own kit and make one now...check out my studio blog at http://thestudioinpreston.blogspot.com and order yours today...A great kit at a great price....Perfect for a class project...More samples to come soon...
