New Cards with ISC...

I finally got to play with my newest set of nesties....I love the scalloped square and decided to make a quick card using some of the layers...All stamps used are http://www.innovativestampcreations.com

I like the way this card turned out...I started out by sanding the pattern paper, then lightly rubbing with distress ink...I stamped the bird, then masked him, stamped the branch, then stamped just the end again, to make the branch a bit larger, I used my martha border punch to make the trim for the bottom edge of the layering panel...I used the martha flower punch to make the blossoms for the branch and the flower at the top corner...I used my bone folder to curl the flower petals some, glued the flowers onto the branch, then added gold metallic paint to the centers...I layered two of the larger punch flower shapes, added a clear stone for the center...
Attention to detail...notice how the pattern paper design shows thru the bird slightly...I like that look, and the tiny punched flower shapes, work perfect with this branch stamp image...Be sure and check out Betsy's stamps and get this set...its so versatile...and we all love birds....
