This is the huge prickley pear cactus at the end of our driveway...and yes, the children learned the hard way...Don't Touch...but while mowing grass one day...I backed into it...and yes...pulled stickers outta my rear...LOL...
It has beautiful yellow blooms that seem to magically appear...this morning there were no blooms...this afternoon, lots of blooms and more to open soon...
The flowers almost look like they could be made from tissue paper...they are so delicate...
