Ornament Card with Cuttlebug Embossing

I used a gold speckle cardstock for the layering piece I embossed...I then used gold metallic paint and lightly brushed across the embossed areas...it did not show up in the picture...but its really pretty on the ornaments and does not over power the embossing... I used the Sizzix ornament die cut, two for each ornament, I embossed three of the ornaments using the swirl folder, then punched out the center to make a frame...I rubbed the same gold over the embossed areas as well as on the ornament top...
I punched a tiny hole in the top of each ornament and used a fine gold thread to attach the ornaments to the thread bordering the card...A friend of mine did a similar effect years ago, but she used snowflakes...I liked the look and wanted to try it for the ornaments...it worked...I will put photos in the little ornament frames...didn't have them handy...and give this as a gift card to a family member...dont want to tell who, as they might see this and know...LOL...its all done on a dark green card base...I will attach a light panel inside the card to stamp the Merry Christmas message and sign the card...
