Its a Dressy Affair...

I am loving this little die cut...I had a few hours of playtime this afternoon in my studio...My boss felt sorry for me...LOL...I have been working so much for her lately...She said she knew I needed some playtime...so...I made dresses...I have to make 12 Red Hat Ladies pins for my mother in law to give to her group...so I played around with some ideas...as well as a few others...
I used Stickles Glitter Glue on the bodice parts of the dress...and added some tiny dots to the swirls on the purple skirt...
The white one is simply embossed with the dots and added bow...the other dress used two different Cuttlebug Embossing Folders and I colord it with marker on the bodice and color duster and ink on the bottom...
This is my favorite...The hot pink and teal look so good...I loved the way the marker streaking looked like fabric...almost like moire, so I just left the streaks there...I colored the dress with marvy markers...I added a border of gold to the top of the bodice...and a darker teal ribbon sash...I hope you enjoyed my dressy affair...The seamstress will be very busy for a while...LOL...To order the dress die cuts http://thestudioinpreston.blogspot.com/ For more info email me at debbiesdiecuts@yahoo.com
