Elvis Mini Book Album

I finished the Elvis Mini Book Album for my hubby's birthday present next weekend...I used Elvis fabric and covered the chipboard shape for the album cover...
I loved the simplicity of the colors, the black and teal Elvis print was perfect for this color scheme...I copied photos of my hubby and printed them on glossy photo paper...

I wanted to use all those pictures of him and some with his little brother, so i decided to make little flip pages on the first teal page...

I love the way to page turned out...and each photo size being different adds to the look...

I didn't want too much foo foo...but I did use some of the swirls, flourishes and bracket die cuts throughout the book...I trimmed each photo, so that they would fit nicely on the pages and then layered each onto black cardstock, then used my corner rounder to add interest to the shapes...rounding all corners or just opposite ones...

The photos in this book tell a story that my hubby relates to and holds dear...The last picture is of his recent swearing in ceremony, he was made Captain and Chief Deputy...I added the last two photos on the inside black cover because I know they are special to him...his Pa and Grandma and his daddy riding a cow down the road...
