Decorative Painting Find...

While rummaging thru some more boxes in my studio storage room...I found a box with lots of my older decorative painting pieces...Gosh, I did not even remember I still had this stuff...This is an Angel with a fabric skirt that I painted years ago...I did these and sold them at arts and craft shows, back in the day...
Actually, I did remember I had this piece...I just wasn't sure where it was...This is a paper mache box, I base coated with off white acrylic paint, then transferred a pattern from a decorative painting magazine...but, I did my own style of painting...
This used to sit on my kitchen counter year round...its a cookie jar lid...not sure what happened to the jar, or the other lids I made...I did have a snowman and easter bunny too...but Jack was my kids favorite...so he usually stayed on the jar...We kept candy in the jar tho...
This is one of my original designed pieces...gosh, brings back fun memories...I used to paint a whole line of shadow box pieces...This was one of my Christmas/Winter Holiday Line...I will be glad to get my painting studio back up and running...I do miss painting...especially when I find stuff like this...

OMG! I also used to do this type of painting. My biggest project was painting on the tire cover of my parents van, it was metal. I did an little boy and girl walking up a lane to church in the country. I should share some of the work on my blog that I did.
I love your angel!
