Faux Enameled Tin Ware Technique by Debbie Bankston

I played with some more techinque designs today...This is another one of those that brings back memories...My grandmother had this embossed tin container in her kitchen when I was little...I remember is having some random coloring...i think maybe it was flowers...anyway...I remember the embossed areas were black...and I remember some spattering on it as well...
I added some gold metallic paint randomly...I started with a heart die cut from watercolor paper, then using Nick Bantock reinkers and a dampened sponge, added the colors to the die cut after spritzing it with water...I started with the yellow, then added the pink, then the turquoise color...after it was dry, I embossed using my Cuttlebug Textile folder, then used black ink to color the embossed areas...I have some more projects using this technique in the works...will share them soon...

I really love this one and I remember the enamelware you are talking about, My grandmother has a wahspan with it, I think it was fruit on it but remember it being colorful.....ohhhhh, brings back memories....

I checked out all of your new stuff and you have been busy, I like the skinny book that you did with the bind-it-all.....
