Tag Book Kit Tutorial-Collage Stamping

This tag book kit uses lots of Collage style stamping techniques...The first thing I did was color the white cardstock die cuts by rubbing the ink pads across them to create a faux fabric effect...different fabric variations can be achieved by doing this...I love to create a faux denim effect...and have created a faux burlap effect too...I have done this for years to create backgrounds...I chose my ink colors based on the stamps I was using...Stamping the background type images in the lighter colors, then working forward with the images and darker colors...
I love this face image from Cindy Roland...She designed some images for Innovative Stamp Creations and I enjoy using them all...
After I stamped each page, I used butterscotch adirondack ink to sponge the edges...I love the effect it gives each page...and added that technique to give dimension...
All of Betsy's images work great for Collage Stamping...which in itself is a really cool technique...I have some other pieces in the works and will share those as I get them done...I also have a few new projects in the works...so stay tuned for those...
