Welcome Door Hanger

I covered the door hanger with pattern paper, sanded the edges slightly, and sponged the edges with brown ink...I added bows from coordinating ribbon to one side of the opening...a flower and leaves to the top corner...
Sizzix die cut letters, run thru the Cuttlebug swiss dots folder, and a swirl die cut, that I cut apart to create some background motion behind the spray of flowers...I added martha punched leaves and silk flower and leaves with glue dots...
I finally got to finish this project today, it had been on the back burner for a few weeks now...Be sure and check out the door hanger die cuts at http://thestudioinpreston.blogspot.com

This is VERY pretty! Do the silk flowers hold up well? I made something with some and they bleached out so now I make paper punched flowers and seal the paper so it does not fade. Thanks! Donna

What a beautiful project to greet your guests! I love the little extras and I could see myself making one per month to highlight the colors and icons of each month's holidays. Thanks for the inspiration.
