I love to paint wooden and terra cotta dishes, trays, bowls, etc...I have one in my kitchen that holds keys, etc...I use them as catch alls for change and other pocket stuff too...I base coated the bowl in white acrylic paint, transferred the outline of the cow and then painted all the detail freehand...I spattered the bowl with black acrylic paint using a toothbrush...
He is just the sweetest little cow...My family just loved him...
The outside of the bowl was painted with black acrylic paint and then spattered with white acrylic paint...I sealed the bowl with 3 coats of waterbased varnish/sealer...
