Antique Brackette Books for Mother's Day

I made a book today using my Antique Brackette die cut shape...I cut four shapes from pink cardstock, then used a pattern paper with a Mom theme on the cover...added some green cardstock with punched edge and flowers...
I used coordinating pattern papers throughout the book to accent the pages...I added die cuts or photo placement areas to each page...

This book is for a friend as a Mother's Day gift...so i did not over embellish it, as she will want to add things to it...

These are the last two pages, but I did not have time to add any foo foo to them yet, will do that tomorrow...

While I was working on my book, my granddaughter wanted to make a book for her step-mom...I thought it was a wonderful idea...she had picked out this paper one day at the scrapbook store, and we used it to design the cover...

I did some of the die cutting for her, but she designed and decorated the book herself...

Sorry, I did not realize this photo was sideways...the pink page is actually the bottom page of this layout...

I thought this was pretty good for a 12 year old...I was really pleased with what she did...I am going to show her how to make a box for the book tomorrow...and hope we have time to decorate them too...

Both books are wonderful! Your granddaughter has natural artistic talent!! I'm sure her step mother will LOVE the album and they'll be able to add photos to it together!
