"inchies" and how...

All these inchies are done by inking a larger stamp and laying the inchie over the area I wanted, press to get a good image, then I used chalks to color them, then sealed with Ranger Glossy Accents...I trim the edges of my "inchies" with a black or dark brown marker...it gives a more framed effect that I like...The scenic image is from Innovative Stamp Creations...its from one of Betsy's newer stamp sheets...and I love it...the Wolf is from PSX...my hubby collects wolf stuff...so I had to have a wolf inchie...the Sunflower is from a large background image that Laura designed for Lasting Impressions with Panache...
This is a close up of the wolf...I was hoping the chalking would show the dimensional look the face takes on...Its hard to take a close up of an "inch"...LOL...I did one of these from a coaster and one on regular cardstock...they both are cool...
This is the hummingbird, one is sealed with Glossy Accents and one is not...one was stamped on glossy cardstock and one on regular cardstock...
The globe image from Innovative Stamp Creations was perfect for the round "inchie"...I stamped the globe a little differently on each one...and they are from various surfaces, regular cardstock, glossy cardstock and coaster chipboard...they were all colored with the same marker colors...I sealed the coaster one and the regular cardstock one with Glossy Accents...the glossy one, I left plain...

Saw your inchies on T.J. and came over to see some more of your wonderful work. Wow, they look so nice with the glazing. I must give it a try. Thanks for the inspiration. Glossy really does give it that finishing touch.
